Our Process

Step 1
Developing an artistic vision

Once you have been inspired to contact us, we will embark on a series of phone calls and emails to discuss the scope and creative direction of your vision in detail. We will concentrate on your absolute must haves and what you desire from your new fixture.  More specific design styles, glass colors, fixture finishes, as well as site-specific structural details (such as of center electrical connections, beams, or electrical requirements) will be discussed at this point. For our clients that live in the Benelux on site consultation with the artists, Walter and Brigitte, is available and free of charge. With 26 years of expertise, they have organically honed a keen eye for space, colour and structural details. At this time you will share photos, videos, drawings, or any other forms of inspiration directly with Walter & Brigitte.

Step 2
Design & Appraisal

Through collaboration with you, Walter & Brigitte are able to draft up a creatively sound design that exceeds your expectations. Your journey with the artists starts to take flight as they share with you their creative vision, along with pricing and specifications for your approval. Any changes to the design or concept must be finalized. 

Step 3
Production

Upon approval and purchase, the creation of your uniquely inspired fixture will commence. With exhilarating skill, Brigitte will transform the glass into the shapes and colors you envisioned. While with wondrous mastery, Walter will hand-bend and weld your fixture into your desired shape. Canopies will be made, and final touches plus assembly will also be done by Walter at our Ghent based studio. 

Step 4
Delivery & Shipping

For our clients that live in the Benelux, we offer a free installation service. Once your order is completed we will contact you to setup an installation time that works best for you, and we will personally come and install your fixtures. This is the exciting moment we get to share the experience of our creative vision coming together for the first time. 

For our international clients, your artwork will be safely packaged and shipped ready to install. You will experience the exciting moment of our creative vision coming together by yourself, but we would love to hear about it and share it with you through photos and videos.
